June 2025 - Happy 15th Birthday, Oliver!

Oliver is 15 years old!

He got his permit and is legal to drive (with an adult).

After his basketball game (first time playing varsity) 

in Farmington on his birthday, 

he chose to eat at Farmington Pizza Company.

He always wants to sit by Dad!

After supper, he drove for the first time.

He drove Dad's Dodge Journey in SRC's Engle parking lot.

Then home for his birthday brownie.

We celebrated his birthday with family on

Saturday, June 14th.

Grandma Dalpiaz came to the party,

but Grandpa wasn't feeling well and stayed home.

Grandma & Grandpa Kessler came to the party.

Uncle Kevin came to the party - Sadie was so happy!

Aunt Katie, Lauren, & Drew came to the party.

Also in June, we celebrated Father's Day...

We did a double-feature day in Peoria to see

"How to Train Your Dragon" (live action)

and (thank goodness Oliver didn't have to go alone)

"The Life of Chuck"

Oliver played more basketball in June and

got quite a bit of playing time.

He has improved and is having a lot of fun.

We also visited the Haufs this month.

Oliver has definitely outgrown Lauren.

We enjoy seeing everyone and celebrating

Nathan & Adam's high school graduation.

The red (& orange) lilies bloomed for Oliver's birthday.

The mimosa tree (from Great Grandma Bertels)

bloomed extra beautifully this year & smells wonderful.

From plants to pets - Jasmine (3 years old),

Sadie (12 years old),

and Sneakers (13 years old).
